Default Flames 6 Jets 3

Flames 6 Jets 3

- Kadri with two goals and an assist
- Huberdeau with a goal and assist
- Markstrom solid after giving up 3 on 12

Was a little worried about Markstrom but he came through.

I thought Hunt had a solid game. And Rooney continues to play well.

I am amazed at how well Kylington is playing, after sitting for almost 2 full seasons. And Pachal is found money.

If it is Marky's last game I hope he's not heading to Newark.

Hard to know if the rumours were accurate or not, but the 4 piece one (Holtz, 1st, Sigenthaler, 2nd for retention (33 or 50)) was too rich for my tastes.

And Conroy did say it would take a big overpayment for him to even consider trading Markstrom.

Mercer, Siegenthaler, Casey and a 2nd more palatable? Gotta give to get!

Blues have dropped two in a row.
Flames win adds about 4% to their chances, but teams between keep winning.
Kings get rolling and have become team #7.

Hurdle down to 91 points now. Calgary needs to go 16-8-2 (.654)

I assume worst spot is not high enough to make it and not low enough to get a good draft pick?

Exactly ... winning their way out of the basement, but completely irrelevant.

Still early but I am hoping that Kuzmenko picks it up again. After his first three games he seems to have disappeared, however, not happy with the coach dropping him to the fourth line as that's not going to help his game.
