Rinne with a solid game and the top line continues to lead the way. Patty Kane with another 2 point effort. He has been out best player this season.

This game was all Aaron Dell of NJ stopping 49 of the 51 shots the Pens took in what could have been as blowout loss...and oh, losing Jack Eichel for a month with a knee injury. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

We took out three Flames before they send out Watson to goon poor, defenseless Myers!
Game Notes
Dylan Larkin is injured at 3:08 of 2nd period (Strained Right Knee)
Adam Larsson is injured at 8:27 of 2nd period (Strained Back)
Nate Thompson is injured at 17:14 of 2nd period (Sprained Right Knee)
Austin Watson beats up Philippe Myers at 3:44 of 3rd period

Buffalo wins again behind another great effort by the top line of Getzlaf, Pacioretty and especially Pastrnak.

Should have traded him to Montreal!

And that, my friends, is why I wanted Cam Talbot.

Makes his Islander debut with a 48-save shutout.

Hahaha you cant make this stuff up. Talbots team gets outshot and the guy stands on his head for a shutout. Well done Cam you stuck it to your GM who traded you away.

I would start planning the Cam Talbot parade on the Island

I must add the GM is pleased with the way the team is playing but not with the results.

The team is winning the faceoff battle, out shooting and out hitting the opponents. The team is working hard the results will come, just have to stick with it.

Better yet — Talbot beat Craig Anderson, my starting goalie in my 2018 run to the final. Anderson pitched a 61-save shutout in triple overtime of Game 6 against Buffalo to win our second-round series.

I can assure you it did. Does the name "Alexander Radulov" ring any bells?

0-2 without Matthews.
Dumba was out for this one too and the Rangers heavily outshot us and took the well deserved win.
