This number is so bad, I would have eliminated all of them as options on either games played, or games played at another number parameters.
I'm going Brennan Evans for the two playoff games!

Breen is the franchise leader in both points and games played in this number. That says it all for me.
No vote.

Slow vote day so will update the all time teams as there have been a few changes since last update
FIRST
Roberts Nieuwendyk Iginla
Tkachuk Gilmour Fleury
Gaudreau Otto Mullen
Pepper Conroy Lanny
Gio Chopper
Suter Sarge
Phaneuf Regehr
Kipper
Vernon
- ok this team is either done or nearly done. the one tough call I guess was bumping Monahan in lien of Conroy- this could be argued, but I figure this team can score regardless and went with a more conventional 4th line. Excluding Makarov at RW was hard but if you consider the position's history for the franchise I think this is the right choice. could have moved him to LW I suppose. Awaiting one more D and then we will have enough for a full '2nd team' of these guys which I will post( and that team will still improve quite a bit as there are some good secondary players in the high numbers)- the top line there is likely Tanguay Monahan Makarov- so they can score
SECOND
Huselius Nilsson Loob
Cammy Jokinen Hudler
Tonelli Langkow Lindholm
Plett Yelle Hunter
Reinhart Macoun
Musil Brodie
Bouw Sarich
Riggin
Kidd
- Here goalie was the trickiest, I think by tenure these are the right two names, but not sure you wouldn't want some or all of Freddie, Rittich or Tabby in a playoff series over these guys- chance that this blueline still gets modified (slightly)

I feel like whoever wins this should be considered the secondary winner on the list we're making.

Yeah, I’m not going to vote for this round. Maybe it won’t be bad to have a no vote option too for some of these numbers.

If you can get the best #43 by having 0 minutes of career regular season TOI, and 5 minutes total, you do that. Evans.

Personally, I don't mind seeing so-called no-names with some of these numbers. It's a still a fun exercise. I voted Kohn for no other reason than to say I watched him play for the Saint John Flames in Fredericton (Habs farm team at the time) several times. I was attending UNB back in the day. Even though one of my most vivid memories of him is getting smoked by local boy Todd Sparks. Kohn put up some nice offensive stats in the AHL. I know it's not the NHL ,but what they hay. That Baby Habs team saw a former standout of the Flames for a time as well; Craig Conroy. There, train of thought may have come off the tracks a little here. Heh heh! Enjoy your day everyone.

Joe Piskula was a bright light on Saturday Night Live during an era generally considered by critics as the show's nadir. Although often overshadowed by the nascient superstar Eddie Murphy, he did provide some memorable characters. His David Letterman impersonation, for instance, was spot on.

Chris Breen played 9 games for us? Geez, beside Monahan's rookie year, that 2013/14 team was forgettable...
But he's my pick based on this photo alone:

I might have remembered Kohn, but man, these are like small buckets of paint that's stashed deep behind the stairs in my basement.

Kohn had his fan club in Saint John at the time... the "Kohn-heads." His offensive game, alas, never translated to the NHL level.

Kohn played 12 games and had 3 points as a Flame in two stints. Breen only played 9 games and no points (and the only 9 NHL games).
Kohn also had 42 points in 186 NHL games.

He only wore #43 for 3 games and had 1 point in 2002-03. He wore 46 and 26 in his earlier stints.
Breen had 2 points in his 9 games.
