2 goal night (1 SHG & 1 PPG) for Harrison in Colgate's 4-2 win over Union. He now has 8 points in 21 games this season.

I haven't watched, but the kid needs to be shooting the puck way more. I still don't see top 6 potential, and really can't see how guys are already planning for him to make our top 6 in next couple years.

I would add Culkin to that list, except for some untimely injuries would be in the conversation with Kulak at least!

He seems to play almost scared when the games get tougher or a little chippy and doesn't really use his big frame to get into the dirty areas and will his way to the net. Kind of reminds me of Backlund offensively. I think Backlund could be one of our best forwards but for whatever reason doesn't drive hard to the net and will instead take a weak wrister from the perimeter or look to dish the puck. Kind of frustrating because you can see the skill and potential and in Jankos case the size and skating as well.

For me aggressiveness has always been a problem with Jankowski. He ain't no Joel Otto but with his increased size and muscle he has seemed to be improving. I hope he continues with that but we'll see.

if he is playing a little scared, it could very much have to do with the cheapshot he took recently

That could be, but playing scared, regardless of the circumstance is somewhat concerning at any level and even more so in the NHL. Unless your an elite level talent like say a Kessel, you can't play passive and scared in the NHL.

Janko with an early 1st period goal to make it 1-0
edit: Then follows it up shortly with an assist to make it 2-0

Yes they are brothers. Reportedly some NHL teams are interested in signing him as a UFA this spring.

I haven't seen him play recently, but he sure didn't play scared in the Frozen Four last year.
And he doesn't remind me of Backlund at all. I agree that he needs to be more aggressive but he is nothing like Backlund.

What i meant when i compared him to Backlund was just the one aspect of the game (playing more on the perimeter on offense especially off the rush). Other than that aspect I agree they are nothing alike.

Really good game so far with Vermont coming back to make it 6-4 only to have the goal disallowed. Pretty fun game to watch.

Tried to watch the 3rd but the colour commentator was mind-numbingly dull.

So he is a point per game as a senior. That is progress but I would hold off pencilling him onto our top line. At this level of production, he would have to beat the odds.

I'm hoping that he basically becomes a 6-4 version of Mikael Backlund.
