Default GoPro Hero 3+

Hey all,

I have just recently got a new GoPro Hero 3+ edition camera and I am just trying to find a good Micro SD memory chip to buy. Ive been reading online and saw alot on the SanDisk cards that the GoPro will basically eat the chip and it won't read in the camera or in your computer after you use it.

Just wondering if any of you have a GoPro 3+ and what memory card you have been using?

Thanks

My Sandisk Ultra card works in my GoPro but the camera throttles it down to prevent overheating. Get a Lexar 600x card. Even GoPro recommends them.

Maybe he's planning on turning it around and it's going to be someone or something banging Fotze?

Only thread I could find to bump:

If you are down at the outdoor adventure show today, The Camera Store's booth is selling Hero3+ Black edition for $400 gst included ($380+tax). Best price I have ever seen, so I snagged one.

New GoPro user here, and I wanted to do a 6 hr timelapse this weekend. In a test tonight, I found out that the battery only lasts about an hour. Has anyone had experieince with external batteries, or some way to run the camera with an external power source?

Also, where is the best place in town to buy mounts and other supplies?

You can get an extended battery pack for them but the cheaper and more powerful option is a usb battery pack.

The Camera Store also carries them.
