2010 Olympic Ticket Trade Thread

Rumor has it that you can't get a hotel for just 2 nights. I personally have not tried it but a family friend wanted 2 nights and the only 1 hotel would offer it at 500 a night every where else is only going for 5 night stays. Again this is just what I have heard not personal experience

There are some events where you can still buy tickets for face value through the official channels.

They also have a fan-to-fan auction (scalping) section where you can see tickets listed by private sellers.

There is usually a period two weeks prior to the Olympics opening when hotels/condos start removing restrictions and just want to fill up. Last i heard was that 20 percent of rooms were still available.

...i posted a wanted ad for accomodations and I've gotten literally hundreds of replies. The supply far outweighs the demand imo.

...I've looked for hotels and gotten nothing in searches for months, until recently two popped up. Granted one was airport area and one was in Burnaby, and they both wanted like $500 / night...I still take it as a sign that things will open up to some degree for people last minute

I still have my Luge tickets for Feb 15th. I also have Olympic bus tickets which will get you to the event that day. Last I checked the bus tickets - like the event tickets - were hard to come by.

Face on the Luge tickets is $34 x 2
Face on the bus tickets is $50 x 2

My luge tickets are gone (via the official site) but I still have the bus tickets if anyone can use them. Bus leaves at 1:25, I just want $50 total for the pair. (they are $50 each right now off the official site).

I have 2 "B" tickets to Czech republic vs. Slovakia at 9pm on FEb. 17th. Unfortunately I have work that night and cant make it. Does anyone have any other games that they would consider swapping for this game?

I had my PGS tickets cancelled so now am going with nothing to do for most the days I will be there (between the 20th and 28th).
