The entire Untold series on Netflix is just excellent. Really well constructed, entertaining storytelling.

The Trashers one is definitely my favourite though. It's basically like watching Goon for the first time.

Taste in TV shows aligns with your taste in hockey teams at least

Although for Seinfeld, they were not very nice people to begin with.

that and they run out of storylines, of course.

I know money talks, but I wish it was more like the UK with short series runs.
After 4 or 5 years, there usually is nothing else for a show to say. especially comedies.
Homer was the same way on the Simpsons. He was dumb in a smart way in the early seasons before they started relying on the complete bubbling idiot character that he became because it was easier to write cheap laughs for.

I know two kids who at 10 +/- 2 said they preferred episodes from early Spongebob seasons to later seasons, with similar observations on Patrick

I'm actually the opposite. I watched Seinfeld back in the day but I truly appreciate it more now. Some of those episodes are near perfect.

I just watched Schumacher on Netflix. Wow.

I was always a huge fan, but never realized what a better human being he was. Very emotional and moving i think.

If Hamilton had a shred of Schumacher's humility, I'd cheer for him.

At least Hamilton isn’t a classless cheater on the track. That’s got to count for something.

The excuses are what gets me. When he went off on a rant about Verstappen winning all the time and how it would be hard for anybody to cheer for him...

pot... kettle?

that's just one example. lol

Bo Burnham didn’t win best Variety Special at the emmys. Yes, the emmys are bottom of the barrel awards but this was basically the biggest slam dunk award of all time.

Instead they gave it to Hamilton. Yup. Setting up a tripod to tape a Broadway musical just beat Inside, one of the most original, ambitious and thoughtful comedy specials I’ve ever watched.

What a travesty.

Edit: different Hamilton than the one referenced directly above lol.

Watching Young Wallander, as someone who has read most of the novels, I'm enjoying the way in which the story is applying the social themes from the novels into a contemporary setting, but it's definitely missing some of the charm of the books, from the world-weary detective to the procedural, running-of-a-complex-investigation level of detail that the books have. Also setting it in a city makes sense and gives it a more intense mood, but the coastal countryside is again such an important part of the source material. I'm not sure if I'd like it more or less if I wasn't familiar with the books.

To me, far and away the best show Netflix has ever done. Mindhunter #2. That's awesome news.

I think Mindhunter is the best Netflix program ever. Loved that show. I’ll be rewatching it.

Watched the first episode of Squid Game (Korean movie) and wow... NOT FOR KIDS but a neat concept. Not going to be for everyone with the violence.
