He was great in Mindhunters, and my kids love him in Frozen....

I wonder if Keanu Reeves made a demand that he could look the exact same as his John Wick look.

No cutting of hair, no shaving of beard, no changing of cloths, just stroll in looking like John Wick.

Smith was defeated at the end of the last Matrix movie. If they are bringing him back, that's the kind of reveal I would prefer left out of the trailer.

Really digging the ambience and look of this movie. It has a very dystopian feel. I wonder if Lawrence Fishburne is still in the movie, but he's replaced himself with a younger avatar, while in the Matrix. According to wikipedia Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is indeed playing "Morpheus". Unless Morpheus has become a title or we're seeing flashbacks, it doesn't make sense that they would just swap out the actor.

I think he went directly from one set to the other. Didn't have the time for makeup/hair in between.

Have you seen the latest Bill & Ted? Don't get me wrong, I'm a bridge troll compared to Keanu, but he does not look good without a beard anymore.

Gotta say, the use of White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane was the absolute right choice for a trailer theme song.

Also, I believe the Merovingian is in this one as well. Can't wait to see that saucy Frenchman, one of my favorite characters in 2 and 3 IMO.

The fighting is going to have massive upgrades over the sequels. Only due to how much technology has advanced since then. And that the Matrix movies themselves were the bar setters for the filming and CG technology back then.

Well looks like I have to schedule a trilogy marathon before Christmas. This has great potential and I think there will be a lot of thought put into making something that lifts the series up as it did not finish well.
