Happy to get Parise at that contract. He gives me some much needed forward depth.

Charlie Coyle signed with the Flames because all the other teams wanted Charlie to pay them to play on their teams.
Poor Charlie!

I tried a lowball offer to a forward. Not even close.

Me too. I had Fast .55 x 3. I was so close.
Plus I had the other bid on Yandle. I think I'm 0 for 4 with my bids so far.

LA is happy to bring in Dadanov to round out the wings. The team was pretty light on pure goal scorers, and being able to play the left side fills a pretty glaring weakness.
We made a play for a couple of centers to make us more flexible in that position, but it looks like we were outbid heavily for one, and likely came in third on the other.

I figured Stepan would likely come relatively cheap due to his tough year in Ottawa. Like the bounceback potential there, could easily see him getting 40-45 points in Carolina. He's still a 70 overall, too. Kinda wish I'd given that money to Dadonov but oh well.
Nemeth was obviously my top target. Initially had thrown an offer Sbisa's way but I opted against it to up the Nemeth and Stepan bids.
Hutton is a Coyote and I think he'll get a ton of starts in 2021-22. Could have a good year if he gets into a rhythm, we'll see. Cheap either way.

Also since i had a couple people ask. NYI is showing over the cap right now.
They were not at the time of the UFA deadline as Anton Forsberg had been waived to the farm - creating the necessary space. He has since been recalled so they are now showing as being over by that amount.

Yup I brought up Forsberg just a couple hours ago to potentially have him in the CPHL for the purposes of a trade.

Keith Yandle had 44 points for us last year so we're super excited to bring him back in as a solid leader who should still contribute greatly to our power play as well. Yeet.

That’s was the first thing I thought of when I seen you won him. Technically he never played a game for the Hurricanes…. All he got was a jersey and than back to Philly

There are two cap totals on each team, the watchdog treats it the same and sends a notification when a team is over the cap
Just an observation that is being overlooked. It should be cleaned up in the future and something I just noticed now

So nothing?
Is it not a valid point, or is the subject just being ignored

Sorry I didn't know it was being raised as a question.
Are you talking about the AHL cap v. NHL cap?
