I'm sure he could hold his own in high jump with some dedicated training. He's a beast.

Not that I'm becoming an England fan or anything, but seeing them troll those awful Hungary fans is pretty sweet.

too bad Sterling and Kane have missed sitters left and right, they could have really torn them apart tonight. Would have served those "fans" right.

Should be empty stadiums in Budapest for a while, just vile behaviour overall. We'll see if UEFA does anything.

Guardian live commentary.

Argentina should forfeit, they knew the EPL players couldn't play. Brazil sat them out.

Match abandoned. Brazil now doing a glorified training session in front of the fans.

Given their disastrously bad run financially, Barca getting Depay on a free is a Godsend. He's absolutely on fire right now.

The Danes have won their first six qualifying games by a combined score of 22-0. They are eight points clear of second, having all but qualified with still 4 games remaining. Scotland and Austria have been awful.

yeah, no kidding. The whole WC qualifying stage has been extremely disappointing for us and everybody is calling for sacking the manager. All for it personally, the Euros masked a lot of issues we've had for a while.

lol FIFA. That joke of a sentence will teach them ...

Quote:
Hungary have been ordered to play two matches behind closed doors by Fifa following the racism English players experienced at the World Cup qualifier in Budapest on 2 September.

However, the second ground closure is suspended for two years. The Hungarian Football Federation has also been fined £158,400 (200,000 Swiss Francs).

A major upset in Africa. Nigeria have lost at home to bottom feeders the Central African Republic. The group is now thrown wide open.

Also Japan lost again. If they are to make it, it may have to be via the playoff route. They host Australia on Tuesday in what is now a huge game.
