Hopefully it's just precautionary.

He is still going to be on after hours as scheduled. So looks like not serious.

Wearing shorts on After Hours -- no ice packs, no walking boot.

Not sure about the whole "lower body injury"...

I think I figured it out. The players know that Jankowski needs to be up here so Jagr gets a "day to day" injury so that Janko can be called up. Janko scores 2 goals in his first game, and then Jagr is back healthy but the flames can't send Janko down anymore because he made too much of a difference. Jagr is back, Janko stays up, and some of the riffraff gets waived. Jagr really is a genius.

Jagr would need to be on IR (and out for a week, minimum) for anybody to be called up.

Soo, what the heck happened here? I'd fallen asleep during that point in the game, but in watching the replays I can't figure out what the injury could possibly be.

Age.

I'm only partially kidding. Little tweaks in joints are not tolerated as well as we get older. I think maybe he did something small to his right knee that didn't feel right to him, so he pulled himself out.

He'll be fine.

IMO, there is no injury, and Jagr decided to go off himself. Perhaps he wasn't feeling it and took a walk?

Not a chance, I bet its a groin injury.

He left the ice slow...

Agreed. He's a bright guy and I'm sure he realizes he tarnishing his legacy on the ice swatting at pucks in front of the net in Sean Avery fashion. I would imagine it's frustrating for one of the greatest of all time to be converted into a turnstile in front of the net. If he doesn't find a bit more gas in the tank he probably calls it a career soon. He's earned the right to leave on his terms.

Why do people continue to think they can tell by looking at Jagr what his mindset is and that he wants to call it a day? He signed here for a reason. He wanted to play in the NHL this year. His role would have been talked about before he signed. We seriously think mid-play Jagr was like "nope. Screw it. Retiring"?

Hip flexor? Jagr also emphasized on hips during "After Hours".
