Was out late last night and didn't see any. However, the Luxor beam of light is still off just in case. Caught us by surprise.

It was really nice. Was given a strip view. We really like that hotel. Very clean, lots of amenities and they do a good job of minimizing the smoke. They also have a 24hr restaurant on site that is very handy for late night food cravings.

Saw 1 dead hopper the whole weekend, I'd say its over.
48 degree heat was a #### show though, my god was it hot!
Air BNB was advertised as 10mins off the strip... as my one buddy said "as the crow flies" it was about a 30minute UBER w/ traffic.
House was still pretty good, huge house but lots of cut corners which was sad. They had like a 6500 digital everything fridge but the ice maker was broke... like don't pay someone to fix it or advertise it. Just leave a note saying its broken along with a plethora of other things like ceiling fans in bedrooms and a GIANT fish tank that is molding/rotting with dirty water...
Didn't mind staying off the strip, but definitely has its perks.
Best man decided that "entertainment" at the house wasn't worth it so we went and got scammed at the peelers... knew that was coming.
Vegas is overrated, unless you like gambling and spending 20 USD on a drink.
Pen and Teller was a fun show though, that's about the only enjoyable high note

Everyone knows you skip from casino to casino and stop at every Walgreens/CVS and get the 20oz PBR cans for $1.00.

I can guarantee that “someone” did this at 42 and will be doing again whenever “they” can get back down there. Pricing at the bars and pubs on the strip is ridiculous if you don’t know where to go.

When I went to Vegas for the first (and so far only) time my plan was to play some penny machines to get free drinks.
Then I found that I could buy beer for $0.99 at Walgreens/CVS. That was quicker, easier, and likely cheaper than waiting around "playing" a penny machine until I got served.

There is so much to do in Vegas, walking the hot street drinking a 99 cent beer ranks real far down.
Hell, you can (or used to) get $1 beers at the Casino Royale 24 hours a day...

You can buy a nipple of hard stuff for at Walgreens or CVS for much cheaper than it will cost you playing slots to drink.
It's nice to get the comped drink when gambling, but if you're gambling just to get the drink then you're paying way more than you think.

I was going to mention Casino Royale and their cheap beer. We also like spending a few hours or a good chunk of a day walking up and down the strip, stopping at every casino, sometimes play a table game for a few minutes, grab another drink and head onto the next one. We only go every few years so it seems like there's something new to look at inside a lot of casinos. We go for 4-5 days so even spending most of 1 day cruising the strip doesn't even chew up a lot of our time there.

We were planning on taking a drive up to Vegas but Delta kicked that in the dick, with an unvaxxed 2 year old. No thanks.
I want to try a high end buffet one of these days.

There's not really high end buffets, just varying levels of regret.

I mean the buffet at Caesars is definitely going to be "higher end" than the buffet at the Luxor, but it's a buffet, you're there to stuff your grill with as much food as possible, if you just want some high end items just order from the menu at one of the classy restaurants instead of watching a bunch of 300 pounders slam as much food as possible.

Trying to think of a "high end buffet" I've eaten at. Maybe the Banff Springs brunch?
