That’s .... not a bad idea, actually.

Put Kylington with Monahan and Gaudreau - he’d instantly be the most physically gifted line mate they’ve ever had.

I'd much rather play well and lose than play bad and win. At the end it all catches up
A wish list for this season's team eh. That's cute.

Ward's contentment with last game on the radio irked me.

Borderline boasting about their play, except they did virtually nothing offensively in the final 40 minutes.

Their defending was good, but we showed no punch and awful transition. And it just made for ugly hockey.

I just prefer coaches that always are reaching for more and never happy with a loss, regardless of the opponent.

Too much positive reinforcement leads to complacency.

Fine with me. Leivo has been a pretty massive disappointment for me. Wasn't expecting him to come in and light it right up all season, but I did expect at least something.

He's like the 2nd best fw signing they made this past offseason. Nordstrom by default has been the best one.

1.Nordsteom
Large gap between
2. Leivo
Then dig down as deep as you can go , invent a deep earth coring machine and then imvent a machine that can travel to the earth's core and back out to the other side and...
3. SIMON

And really, they've been easily the worst 3 forwards on the team at all times

Well, Leivo could probably use some sit and watch time.

It’s time to go back to what works:

Gaudreau- Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Backlund - EatBread
Lucic- Bennett - Dube

But of course, we won’t.

Because ... Ward.

Let's Go Flames... just play with some edge and out-work Ottawa.

I’ve said this for weeks. Why not? Lots of guys have converted. And he should be happy to try it.

If we just got a Toffoli, Athanasiou or Granlund, we wouldn't have to waste our time putting unrealistic expectations on replacement guys like Leivo and Simon.

Yeah you have to get creative with cap, but at least you're then not dealing with this rotating door all season.

Tinkerliving gonna tinker.

Just noticed Athanasiou has pup up 4G, 2A in 10 games for LA.

That makes me laugh so, so much. Edmonton spent two 2nd round picks on him, and then didn't qualify him.

I remember on the Flames Firestarter podcast with Brendan Parker and somebody else, one of them predicted Leivo would score 20 this year.

At this point Leivo getting 20 scoring chances is a stretch.

He already has 25, to be fair. He's fifth on the team for individual scoring chances/60.
