I 'retired' from competitive in my early 30's (although at 38 I still want to get back into rec co-ed), but I heard (a long time ago, albeit) that the O35 divisions can be even more tough since lots of former competitive players from abroad retire / move here with their families, want to still play but less competitively, but the depth of talent sometimes actually increases. Is this true?

I was an AR for a game last night and the Ref said the exact same thing about the O35 divisions.

So I've been debating playing with the O35 team "Crew" and then just playing down to my Men's Open team (Sportif). The 035 team is very good, as all of them played at a very high level, some professionally. It's slower without a doubt, but the skill level is as high for sure. If I were to guess, Sportif would beat Crew like 4-1 or something in that range.
My first O35 game last year, I came in super complacent thinking I could just coast, and I got absolutely skinned by some guy and we were scored on 2 minutes in. Still very good soccer.
Any pass longer than 10 yards from Carducci or Trafford is ending up straight out of bounds or on the head of a Forge player. Cannot sustain possession at all tonight. Terrible start from all
That was a brutal half. Tommy needs to really get into them and probably make a couple subs to mix things up. Get a real winger on the field in place of Loturi and try and get Simmons on the ball in the second half. Cavalry has a very uncreative midfield and I’m not sure how they go about fixing that as that’s been an issue all season
What an absolute stinker of a performance. Hopefully getting embarrassed by their biggest rivals serves as motivation for the rest of the year. Glad there is 24 games left to go.
I love Ledgerwood, but him playing that far up the field is speaking to some serious holes in the current team competition. Camargo going down was basically a death sentence.
Really missing old Pasquotti to add a wide threat as well. What's his current status?

Yup, lack of creativity. Shame that Camargo is made of glass.
This was a real interesting video piece on the CSL during their last year in 1992, when the league was just about to fold. Talked about players $7500 per year salary, players working second jobs, no clubs turning a profit, etc.
I really wish One Soccer would offer an audio-only streaming option to save data, if needed.
Not a true audio-only option, but if you’re on iOS you can get PiP and dock it away if you go to OneSoccer with the web browser instead of the app. Handy for multitasking or if driving.
And don’t quote me on it, but I believe that the bandwidth is reduced when watching in PiP vs. full screen, so you might save a few megs.
Just caught the last 15 minutes of the first half but Luca is breaking ankles out there, he looks super dangerous and nearly had the goal of the season but unfortunately it went post and out. Di Chiara looks more positive and those two and Kaiser are having some really nice play down the right
