That rule is seemingly in place to prevent the team with possession from pulling their goalie every time and I’m like why shouldn’t that be happening it was super exciting.

I'd like to see a team purposely tank by giving back the OT loser point by pulling their goalie and being scored upon. Yes, there are less obvious ways to tank, but I'd like to see an intentional exploitation of the rules

It might be exciting. You'd be like in Lacrosse, where the offensive players jump on in transition and the defensive players jump on going the other way.
