And out goes Raducanu! Beaten by the Bad Homburg Champion, Caroline Garcia.

Caroline Garcia through to round 3 as she wins over Emma Raducanu 6-3 6-3. Garcia played really well today (she has a big serve routinely hitting close to 115 MPH).

To me it looked like just a stamina issue as well. If she can improve that aspect of her game, she can still be a force. I Love Serena, will always cheer for her.

Tommy Paul is another guy who employs the Raonic sleeve.

ah who cares about doubles. They shouldn't even have doubles in the majors.

I like doubles, but there's no doubt it's the red-headed step child of tennis (especially mixed doubles). In my opinion, it was poor form for Harmony to pull out at the last minute, but it was also unprofessional of her doubles partner to air her grievances in such a public manner. I mean, who wants to team up with Korpatsch in the future because you know there's a good chance of this situation happening again.

The umpire in the Vesely - ADF match was none other than Carlos Ramos who you will remember was blasted by many for his handling of the Serena - Osaka match in the women's US Open final a few years ago.

Andy Murray has joined Team Europe at the Laver Cup. Djokovic in his press conference said he is interested in going and will make a decision after Wimbledon. We are so close to having the Big 4 team up , poor Team World

You cant hit the ball into the stands, every player knows that. Plus he was already on a warning.

if they do it this year, they might not do it for Vancouver, so I'm kind of hoping they save the big farewell with all of them for 2023.

Good point, maybe Stan the Man will also join them. They should take Pospisil on Team World for 2023.

I don't know, he's losing to guys ranked in the mid 400's these days. To be fair, he's just coming back from another injury, but I fear that his body is just falling apart and Vasek could be nearing the end.

Bianca breaks Rybakina who was serving for the match in set 2 and gets back on serve at 4-5

Edit: Consolidates the break.

No lost service points in this breaker so far is a bit surprising given the last 3-4 games... ah, there's one.

I mean this is kind of underlining my point from the Garcia match at Bad Homburg. Rybakina is pretty good, and her serve is helped by the surface. But she's not a top 10 quality player. 2019 Bianca was clearly a top 10 quality player, in fact, top 3 quality. This Bianca is not that. She is sort of top 20-30, competitive against the other good but not great players, not a threat to the top ones.
