That's happening right now to a degree. Emigration from California is significant right now.

I would argue it has less to do with political reasons and all the more for financial reasons.
Less than a bachelors degree and you see a trend of emigration out of California. Those with bachelors degree and above, it’s around a net neutral, with more emigration into California with those who obtained a phd.

No its not, California has some of the lowest out migration in the US but right wing talking heads have been trying to do Cali down for years for the simple reason that they cant stand that the US relies on blue states to make almost all the money that keeps the US going, its always been the same, the GOP states are poverty stricken #### holes relying on the Feds to keep them afloat while babbling on about free enterprise while the likes of Washington, Cali, NY and Mass actually generate the money the US relies on

Shhhhhhhh! Don't encourage our resident huldrefolk. It almost makes you wish there was a site that tracked this kind of information? Some place like the US Census Bureau? Some place that would show the truth behind this narrative?
https://www.census.gov/data/tables/t...migration.html
But hey, when Joe Rogan moves out, you know its a mass exodus. Amiright?

If I'm reading these right it shows California had massive net losses of population due to state to state migration. -190,000 in 2018 and -138,000 in 2017.
For comparison, Arizona had a net gain of 94,000 in 2018. Texas +102,000.

my point was that rube is 100% correct, and i applaud him for actually sticking to his guns, because most others in here are always so quick to tell everyone to quiet down when it comes to criticizing the democrats in fear that some moderates might not vote or something other bogus stupidity.

Biden polled better in the swing states against Trump than any other potential candidate...people who think Bernie or whoever had a better chance don't have a ####ing clue what they are talking about and don't understand who will actually decide the election
Who was your Guy/Girl to beat Trump?

New California poll out... https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...iden-6755.html
Good grief, I knew Cali has been solid blue for a long time but... 39 points??? Hard to see them not pushing hard for secession if Trump gets a 2nd term.

Lindsey Graham was on Hannity pleading for donations as he is getting out-fundraised significantly by Harrison with polls showing a very tight race in a state that hasn't elected a Democrat Senator since 1998. Harrison brought in 14M in the second quarter this year almost doubling Graham's 8.4M.

Yeah. The panic is a bit excessive, which leads me to believe he has a lot more on the line personally than just his seat.

I believe the net migration from California is significant, at least from a state-to-state perspective.
https://www.sacbee.com/news/database...236910698.html
"Texas, Arizona, Nevada and Oregon apparently looked pretty good to a lot of Californians last year.
About 691,000 people left California to live in other states in 2018, new census estimates indicate. At the same time, roughly 501,000 people came to California from other states, creating a net loss of about 190,000 residents in 2018.
From 2015 to 2017, California saw a net loss of between 129,000 and 143,000 residents to domestic migration each year, according to census estimates. (The state’s population continues to grow — though relatively slowly — due to migration from abroad and births.)
California has lost more people to other states than it has gained for much of the last two decades, census figures show. The trend last peaked between 2004 and 2006, around the height of the housing boom." -Sacbee
LA Times quotes a Berkeley study that said that 40% of Republican voters are seriously considering leaving the state (14% of Dems). Older voters want to leave for political reasons, younger voters for housing costs.
According to this article, the blending number is closer to 50%.

California's population has increased 6% in the last 10 years, its net migration is no better or worse than most states, studies of people thinking about leaving are meaningless, a net loss of 100,000 in a state of 40 million is nothing

You’re on top of the emigration facts. What’s your theory about why it’s happening!
