The Official What Do You Have on the Go? Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2014 thread
I always like to hear what everyone has planned. So what's everyones go to plan for this Christmas and NYs?
Are you already off work?
How much time do you get off?
Are you travelling or staying home? Maybe even bringing in a pet?
Movie watching or video gaming?
Red wine or eggnog?
Anything in particular that you would like to get caught up on over the holidays?
What food will you be overstuffing yourself with or possibly avoiding?
Does it feel like Christmas with no snow and zero degree temps?
Are you going to Zoolights with the new improvements they brought in this year?
Hows your week been so far?

People with plans exist outside of this forum.

Are you already off work? Yes.
How much time do you get off? As soon as I find a job, I'm back to work.
Are you travelling or staying home? Maybe even bringing in a pet? Staying home with family, and my dog Benji.
Movie watching or video gaming? Video gaming.
Red wine or eggnog? Neither.
Anything in particular that you would like to get caught up on over the holidays? Nah.
What food will you be overstuffing yourself with or possibly avoiding? I'll be eating everything in sight.
Does it feel like Christmas with no snow and zero degree temps? Yep.
Are you going to Zoolights with the new improvements they brought in this year? Nope.
Hows your week been so far? Not too bad actually. Thanks for asking.

it's been a very trying year and I'm exhausted. Gonna sleep, watch hockey and build models as much as possible.

I finished work on Friday and I'm off till January 5th (16 days off). Have some work to do at home over the break so while the girlfriend is slaving away at the office I'll spend my mornings drinking coffee, watching TV, and getting some work and things around the house done.
Yesterday afternoon, I stopped at Safeway in the morning and bought a lamb leg and some potatoes. Marinated it in lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and rosemary and cooked it up with some potatoes and vegetables for dinner. It's been so long since I've had roasted lamb, damn, it was good!
We are sticking around for Christmas. Christmas Eve will be at her parents place, then on Christmas day we will head over to my dad's for gift opening and dinner (a Christmas ham!).
It doesn't feel like Christmas outside yet, but if the forecast is correct that'll change tomorrow! I like a white Christmas.
I'm going to try limit the sweets intake this Christmas but I will be shoving anything savoury right in my face. Like right now, time for some more lamb.

Are you already off work? Not employed
How much time do you get off? All of it.
Are you travelling or staying home? Maybe even bringing in a pet? Staying home, have 3 dogs
Movie watching or video gaming? Both
Red wine or eggnog? Wine, but not red
Anything in particular that you would like to get caught up on over the holidays? Sleep and all the books waiting on my bedside table to be read
What food will you be overstuffing yourself with or possibly avoiding? Christmas dinner - overeating, I'm sure
Does it feel like Christmas with no snow and zero degree temps? No, I want snow, very badly. I'm one of the few, I think.
Are you going to Zoolights with the new improvements they brought in this year? I'd like to go, don't know if we'll make it
Hows your week been so far? Exhausting, but incredibly fulfilling

I am working right up until Christmas. I haven't had time to buy everything, so I'll likely have to buy my soda pop from the Superstore liquor store. I'm still trying to figure out what to get my significant other for a Christmas gift. I might go to the gym, but I'm scared.

Working Christmas Eve to 6am on Christmas, sleeping most of the day then spending the rest bouncing back and forth between my and my wife's family.
Working New Years Night. Not looking forward to that one. One of the craziest nights of the year for us.
