Flames Flames assign Yelesin to Stockton. Dube and Kylington appear to be "papered"

Assuming this is the only player that was sent down before the trade deadline, it means Dube and Kylington are with the NHL club for the rest of the season and are ineligible to be sent down to the AHL for the rest of the regular season and playoffs.

edit: looks like Treliving mentioned to the 960 guys that a couple players were paper transactioned so it might be Dube and Kylington

If it weren't for the acquisitions, I'd have this guy on my roster the rest of the season.

Hope we see him again.

I hope Forbort comes as advertised with his physical element. Yelesin has been great in that department.

Is it possible that this is just on paper? Loved having him up here

According to Pike, Dube and Kylington were both papered before the deadline

Forbort's not going to wear Hamonic's number 24, is he?

He's worn number 8 before in his career, and it's available.

I can never remember what this means exactly. So they'll be eligible for AHL playoffs right?

OT but looking at that sheet - I had no idea Hanifin was that big.

It means they are eligible for AHL playoffs but it also means the Flames will use 2 of the 4 regular recalls all teams have after the trade deadline.

Isn't Valamaki number 8?

Yelesin was just getting his feet under him. Hope we see him back. I like his game a lot.

Yelesin was solid. Too bad he got bumped. Need the depth but he earned a longer look IMHO. Hopefully he can earn a spot next year.

Yeah. One downside of the trades is that Yelesin goes down.

Liked what he brought, and thought he's been getting better game by game.

I think we see him up here a lot more next year.

That roster sheet is sure missing a lot of RWs... If only there was a window of opportunity to trade for one.

Sure. And lose a 1st Rd pick. Makes sense.

Yeah, I like what Yelesin brings. If he re-ups this summer, I'd expect he'd get a real shot to become a regular.
