Default Mangiapane, Hrivik, Lomberg to AHL. UPD: Mangiapane, Hrivik recalled after bye week

https://www.nhl.com/flames/news/flam...?tid=282300716

No bye week for them.

Probably see Hrivik and Mangiapane back with the Flames once the bye week ends.

When's the AHL all-star game? Can Eat Bread still make it? (Or has it already happened?)

Heat have two games before the Flames next game, so makes sense to keep these guys active; guessing only two at most will be recalled if Monahan is healthy for the Jets game

Heat sure could use the help. It's gotta be tough to be an AHL fan. Imagine that team with Janko, Hathaway, Mangiapane all season?

Did Lomberg actually fly out to Carolina from Cali? If so, it would have sucked for him going cross-country back and forth.

I'm sure he was thrilled with the opportunity regardless of the flight

The NHL pay for the one day was probably a nice little bonus.

Poor guy, had to fly for a few hours to make tens of thousands of dollars for doing nothing.

Thoughts and prayers.

I bet they put him on a commercial flight where they don't serve the good champagne. Did he even get a seat in the pressbox for yesterday's game?

Completely forgot about the bye week. Was thinking we were getting an influx of healthy bodies.

The only downside for Lomberg was that Jagr wasn't on the trip.
