Gulutzan will be just fine making adjustments on the bench. If the north end of the bench is higher than the south end, he'll raise it up, and if the north end is lower, he'll lower it down. All he needs are a crescent wrench and some shims.

It would be awesome if it was actually Brouwer. The Flames traded for Staios so it's not impossible, and with the massive 3-veiner Gullickson had for him... one can dream.

But first he will spend 3/4 of the season making sure that the bench is truly not level before making an adjustment 1mm at a time.

The #Oilers will continue to be a three man bench - Manny will come down from the press box for the third period to begin with and Todd is open to a four man bench. Trent will work with the defencemen. Gulutzan will work both ends of the bench making adjustments.

Isn't that the head coach's job?
More significantly, did they not watch Gulutzan in either Calgary or Dallas? His inability to actually read the flow of the game resulting in his refusal to actually make adjustments were major reasons for his downfall with both teams.

Giving Gulutzan a role that he is least quialified for would be pure Oilers.

You guys do realize that making an adjust in Edmonton is just putting McDavid on the ice. Probably how he got the job in the first place. Just answered McDavid for everything.

Anybody that goes from Calgary to Edmonton becomes no good forever.

GG was a guy you wanted to root for, but now that he is with Edmonton hope that him and his pal TM set the franchise record for most losses in a row, (Let's say 30 consecutive losses to start the season) and gets quickly fired into the sun.

No good.

No good.
If he did that they'd probably raise a banner for him.

And if he did accomplish that I would hope he becomes and Oiler for Life.
