It has to be table 2 because Cliff Fletcher was the greatest GM the Fames have ever had.

I'd love to pick his brain on how he managed to fleece then Blues GM Ron Caron for giving us both Joey Mullen and Doug Gilmour for next to nothing.

I just randomly threw the tables together. Number 7 was the only deliberate pairing (Conroy/Fleury). Andrew Ference instead of Savard in retrospect might've been fun simply for politics. Ference and Fleury would be total opposites.

Definitely 9 for me. There is a depth to quiet guys like Kipper and Monny, besides they are two of my favorite Flames. As a side note, Dougie Hamilton can come sit at the table too, so he could make things more hilarious and awkward.

I'd pick Table #4. I really want to hear what Brad says after a few drinks...
Where are you getting drinks in the school cafeteria?

Versteeg would be another guy who I feel would have some great stories. Spent time in a lot of dressing rooms.

Table 5, because Lanny. There are few in the game who are as simultaneously eloquent and warm as Lanny. He's got a lot of stories and is just generally a pleasure to be around. Conroy's table would be a close second for the same reasons, but Fleury would likely screw up the vibe.

I'm big on having long conversations with good people. It find it helps with my mental health to be around people with that type of positivity and sincerity. The world's a pretty dark place these days, and we could all use more people like Lanny and Conny.

7 for sure.

-Conroy is a beauty.
-I once attended the Theoren Fleury hockey school at the Family Leisure Centre.
-Savard and I would bond over a common enemy.

Table #4... Players can only tell you so much... it's the current management of the team, that's where the teams direction and future is decided.

Hmmm I've been looking at this wrong. I was thinking as myself wanting to have good conversations but really I should be thinking as a school kid who needs to make friends to survive on the playground.

Table 6 it is.
-Iginla is the coolest kid in school making you cool by association.
-Hunter will protect you from all the bullies.
-Eloranta is an exotic foreign exchange student who makes life interesting and mysteriously knows a lot of girls.

If there was a table with Peplinski, I would totally be there. Table 2 wouldn't be bad with Cliff Fletcher and Noodles.

It would be a pleasure to sit at the same table with the man that scored one of the greatest goals in Calgary Flames history

Table 7 seems like a good group of guys who will all have fantastic stories. Not to mention Conroy will ensure there's never awkward moments of silence!
