Flames What current Flames player would make a great coach/executive?

Just throwing this out there...

Usually it's the journeyman players who have to become students of the game because they can't get by on natural talent alone.

Who is the most cerebral?

Rasmus Andersson has a coach/dad.

Derek Ryan always gives great interviews and seems very well-versed in the game. I wouldn't be surprised to see him stick around the game for a while.

How about former/retired Flames? That's a more interesting conversation given that they're looking to fill a coaching vacancy as we speak.

Doc could most certainly do the university/European route. Good call!

Present needs are certainly an issue. Just spitballing here about current players who may land elsewhere post playing career.

Echo Scorp on Doc. He’s so underrated on this team and in general. Very smart player-would make an unreal front office type.
