That was unbelievable! I do feel bad for Ajax and J79. They’re a good team and it’s a shame they’re going to be pillaged this summer. A lot of great young players there and they do play beautiful footy. The Dutch national team going forward is going to be solid.

Tottenham going to the finals is incredible! I’m so happy!!!

Holy smokes.

Has to be the craziest semi-final in Champions League history.

3 road goals in the second half might actually be more impressive than the Barcelona choke

Ajax keeper may need to do better on that last one...

So all we need now is the last two miracles of the week: Brighton beat Man City 4-0, Liverpool draw with Wolves 4-4, and we get a one game playoff for the PL title. After the last two nights, who the hell knows?

I am stunned. That said, the back four are going to need to be much better if we want to have any hope in the final.

I think....we're going to have to watch it together. What do you say Slava?

So incredibly happy for Lucas. That man went from one of Brazil’s most entertaining young players in the early 2010’s to bench player for multiple seasons at PSG. People forget that the hype around him, especially in Brazil, was just as high as the expectations for Neymar. He has always had so much damn potential, when I would watch him play for São Paulo he would make the stadium go mad. I couldn’t believe how much Spurs got him for and I still can’t believe how PSG almost ruined him. That was the performance of his life in the second half and all those years of languishing in France are now forgotten. With those goals he probably just put himself in contention for a call up to Brazil for the Copa America after being an outcast for the past 5-7 years. Football is a crazy game.

Truly feel bad for Ajax, what a run and what a team. They definitely seemed a bit run down in the second half but still could’ve killed the game off multiple times. All of their young players will be on the European stage for the next decade and due to their success Ajax should be able to rebuild well after they have been sold.

What a ####ing tournament this year!

Another crazy aspect of this final is both teams easily could have been out in the group stages. Spurs needed PSV to come through in a meaningless game for them against Inter, and if Milik puts it in the corner instead of straight at Alisson Liverpool would have been out.

I don't appreciate these call-outs.

I posted here in good times, so I should post now eventhough I don’t want to.
Excuse my english, i can’t be bothered to look things up.

An extremely heartbreaking ending to an incredible run that started in july.
We let it slip. We should’ve scored at least anorher one in London.
Feels unfair but I don’t know if that’s correct.

What looked to be the most exciting game i ever attended turned into a horror movie.
They say the older you get, the better you cab handle these things. That’s a lie. An absolute lie. I became 30 years older tonight.
My 12 yo son could only watch the first half. It’s a normal schoolday tommorow. My wife texted me he came down from his room crying. He found a way to watch the 2nd half... and i don’t blame him. Kinda proud actualy. Brings back memories of a younger me.

Just cancelled the hotel in Madrid and the plane tickets.
Trying really hard to tell myself it’s for the best cause I would’nt survive a CL final.

In the end I’m incredably proud of this team and the way we played.
Hopefuly the boys can get their focus for the last 2 league games and bring home league title nr 34.

Congratulations to Tottenham and their fans. I hope you win the cup for Jan, Toby, Chris and Davinson.
Also respect to Jan who didn’t really take part in the celebrations.

I broke my phone in December after the Eagles lost to Dallas in OT because I mistook it for my remote when I instinctively went to throw something.

I mean, I haven't technically broken a controller yet, those things take quite a bit of abuse. I have one that should have broken down a long time ago but somehow it's still working ... if only those FIFA games were that well-made ...

Definitely something that happened more often in my younger days, but I've definitely done it when playing FIFA or Madden and the AI rubber-bands a ridiculously cheap win.

The more hilarious aspect is that, no matter who wins, we're guaranteed some top-level salt from Bagor.

Wow Go Spurs!!! Coming back from 0-3 down in the 2nd half on the road is even more impressive than what LFC accomplished. The announcer jinxed Ajax with that "Ajax are going to the Champions League Final" after their second goal.

The teams and the England best enjoy this CL final. It may be the last one English teams get to in 5 years. Not because of the quality of teams, rather the upcoming multi year ban on English teams in Europe after the dust has settled in the streets of Madrid and the terraces at the stadium.
