Going on a guided sturgeon fishing trip tomorrow in BC. Wish me and the boys some good luck and for a hungry dinosaur or 2.

Met this critter night before last. He's chewing my hoodie's drawstring.

Tiger Muskie. A local lake is positively teeming with them. It's nearby and accessible from shore, so I fish for them a lot during the warmer months.

Local, as in Central New York. One can't drive 10 or 15 minutes without finding water. Other than NYS taxes, it's a fisherman's paradise here.

One of the lakes I fish is a litle over 5 miles long, but also has 50+ inch Tigers in it. Incredible fish in such a little pond. They are exceptional fighters, but big pansies out of the water, so I do my damnedest to be as quick and gentle as possible about it. The only reason I got that pic is because one of the other guys fishing had his phone at the ready or I wouldn't even have taken him out of the water.

#### think I would have to go 3 provinces over to find them in Ontario and that is not happening. To bad

But if you want to compare salt water fish whole diff story. Should post a pic of my 67 pound yft. My pride and joy and great eating

Wife almost had a 40-50 pound bull dolphin that spit the hook right before we could get a gaff in him

With the sturgeon trip done, we all had a blast. Caught 4 over the day, 3 of which were small guys at 4' and one that was just shy of 7'. Highly recommend river monster adventures.

Come on, you can't just post about a 7' fish and not put pictures, right?!

NEVER. NOT BC

Just kidding well not really

The first question would be what types of fish are you after? If it’s a fly in lodge I would look to Northern Saskatchewan. There’s a ton of them and there daily catch limits are a hell of a lot better then Alberta. The group I fish with stopped going to Albert 15 years ago and never looked back. (We target walleye and Jack).

BC has the salmon fishing but it’s pricy. Anything good and your looking 2500-3000k per person and twice that or more if you look to Queen Charlottes.

I can give you a huge list of places I would go if your chasing salt water fish but I’ll leave that for another time
