2024 Flames Development Camp

Haven't seen a date announced yet, but looks like we've got our first invite...

Summer just got busier for Callum Tung before he heads off to UConn in the fall. Tung will attend the development camps of both the Calgary Flames and the Florida Panthers. Well earned opportunities after a season where no BCHL goaltender made more saves than Tung!

Interestingly, he's taking over the crease from Arsenii Sergeev at UConn (Sergeev has transferred to the Penn State program).

Probably be a few more goalies invited, given that Wolf and Ignatjew likely won't attend. Sergeev, Murphy... perhaps Yegor Yegorov?

Yegorev will most likely be drafted by another team unless Calgary uses a 5th round pick or lower to get him.

Graduating Nanaimo Clippers defenceman Isa Parekh (Nobleton, ON) has been invited to this summer’s Development Camp of the NHL’s Calgary Flames, it was announced today.

Parekh, 20, joined the Clippers this past season and immediately posted a career campaign, registering 38 points (5 goals, 33 assists) in 52 games. He ranked fourth among all BCHL defencemen in scoring.

Committed to NCAA Division I Bemidji State University, Parekh joined the Clippers after two strong seasons in the OJHL with North York and Georgetown.
