Someone explain Flat Earther's to me as I'm absolutely baffled by their conspiracy theories.

I mean with anti-vaxxers there were bull#### studies produced linking vaccines with autism. Or the CIA assassinating JFK, the CIA was pretty disruptive meddling in other gov't agendas in the 1960s/70s so why not meddle in their own internal affairs to further an agenda.

At least in both these cases there's a bit of an underlying structure of why I can see how some people would lean towards a conspiracy angle.

But Flat Earther's.... do they just not like ... globes? The international conspiracy theory of... gravity?!?!?!?

I can't really explain Flat Earthers. I originally thought it was a joke movement, but there are some people that are dead serious about this and the whole government coverup that it entails.

But within the fringe group of crazies, there's a praetorian guard of nutbars that believe that the earth is carried on the back of a giant sea turtle.
