Internet rumours tell me he was an anti vaxxer and may have even died of covid and was unvaccinated. It’s kinda sketchy though, might be a total fabrication.

If true, good riddance.

So tired of reading crap like this. By far the worst part of this pandemic is how it has turned people into polarized #######s. I might think vaccination is the right thing to do, hell - I might even think other people are crazy or selfish for not doing it, but to say "Good Riddance" to them is a pretty extreme response.

Someone doesn't share the same views as you? Good thing they died. Think about that for a minute and if you can't see the problem, maybe you're it.

His idiocy probably cost others their lives. Yes, good riddance that his dangerous views that got people killed are silenced.

Lol. Yeah, I’m the problem. Couldn’t be the anti vaxxers who’ve spread misinformation and cost thousands of innocent people their lives due to their relentless selfishness.

But don’t worry, pat yourself on the back for defending pieces of garbage like that if those are your kind of people.

I'm glad he's dead too, but it's because I don't like fat, old people.

Well this is sad, I remember as a kid singing Paradise word for word, had no idea what it meant at the time though.

Sucks he was anti vax but him & Steinman were a great team

This is from the '81 album Dead Ringer. Love this tune. Wasn't a big hit til Barry Manilow covered it a couple years later

The Bat Out of Hell album cover absolutely terrified me when I was a child.

Very under-appreciated artist imo that never really had great reviews from critics. I think you will find a lot of people 40+ that are pretty gutted by this, as there lot of nostalgia with Meat Loaf.

Hearing his music always reminds me of an amazing relationship I had a long time ago with a girl who helped me through a rough time of my life. I don't know what I would've done without her.
Thanks for all the great memories.
RIP Meat Loaf.

He had a great cameo in Wayne’s World as the bouncer at the gasworks.

“The ####ty Beatles? Are they any good?”

“They suck!”

I doubt to many people based their vaccination choice on the question

'what would Meatloaf do?'

if anything he has probably saved more old fat dumbasses by dying as an anti vaxxer

There's a twitter button when you use the "go advanced" option for posting. Copy the numbered part of a tweet, paste it in the post, highlight it and hit the twitter button and that will give the full link to the twitter post.

Bat out of Hell, Paradise by the Dashboard Light, and especially the 12 minute version of I'd do anything for love. Infinitely better than the 5.5 minute radio version. That 12 minute version showed what he really aimed for with that song, while the radio version was.....the time that would be allowed on the radio.
To be fair Meattloaf is in the top 3 favorite artists of mine but he was no song writer. He was a talented heldentenor but without Jim Steinman writing 4 albums for him he wouldn't have been the success he was .
