Reinhart is a reclamation project? In the 3 years before the trade he was at a 0.76ppg clip. He scored 25 in 54 games last year.

Much better fit for Kane. Leadership in the dressing room is established, Ovi has the owners ear, and would tell Kane to keep a lid on it or he doesn’t play. But Kane makes bad choices and Oilers make bad choices so the logical move to Washington won’t happen.

It's Kane and kuznetsov on the same team a good idea. My guess is the Caps owners have a difficult time keeping multiple players away vices. Throwing Kane into the mix night but be the best choice.

I 100% see Kane choosing to live in a major American city over Edmonton though.

The funny thing is, Kane would immediately become only the 3rd or 4th least likeable player on that team. Maybe that is part of his motivation to go there.

For as much as Kane is an unlikeable character, at least his ability to actually play hockey will win over some people and make them forget he is a jerk.
