Kerins had 1g,2a tonight-giving him 37gp/23g/40a/63pts,+4, 14 PIM. He is tied with Wyatt Johnston (Dallas first-rounder) for 2nd in OHL scoring, and 1 point out of first.

Highlights there.
Actually had a point called back after an offside review also it looks like. Also had the bad giveaway on the only goal against. Work in progress, but you can’t teach skill. You can teach a guy to play D.

Normally, he's considered a good two-way player.....

Flames should take a look at Cole MacKay as a free agent. Another right shot that looks like he can finish. Worth a gamble on a minor league contract to try and develop some RW depth in the organization. They should be hunting high and low and taking some gambles to fill that gap.

Sounds like a cross between Cole Jordan and Conner Mackey, who plays forward...interesting...

Yeah, I agree, take a look at Mackay!
Rangy, I disagree with your assessment. The "bad giveaway" he made was the right play. He retrieved the puck deep after pressure and a rebound, looked up and didn't see any passes or breakouts, so he banked it off the midboards to try and clear. It banked wrong, but objectively he didn't just cough it up. IMO it was the right play.
That video showed a lot of great skills. Great vision (the offside goal in particular was an incredible pass tbh), excellent shot, strong puck control, and good off puck play as well.

Kerins was 3rd star tonight with 1g,1a,-3 in a 5-2 loss to North Bay. He's still atop the OHL with 40gp/26g/43a/69pts,+3, 18 PIM.

Amazing draft steal in the 6th round, he's beating 1st-2nd rounders from the same draft year, he's also leading his team in scoring by 19 pts. Give this kid some money and sign him already!

On the ice for 5 ga is... not wonderful. But it's only one game. He's having a great season.
