Poor outing by Darvish both games he pitched. The first run wasn't his fault, poor throw from second was 5 feet behind him.

Hindsight always 20/20 but what happens in this game if Kershaw starts and Jansen-Wood combo does middle and late relief? I say Astros still win but not as easily. Pitching was just there for Astros today.

Hou left so many runners in game 6, it was LA's turn today I guess.

Beltran finally wins a WS, nice to see.

Starting Darvish, especially after his Game 3 outing, was always a move that was going to be open a lot of criticism if it misfired. When you think about it, Darvish probably should have never started a game, they should have gone to a three man rotation. Astros have faced Darvish a lot over the years, they simply knew him too well, so it's very possible, if not likely, he was tipping pitches and they knew what to look for. But the Dodgers lost this series when the alleged greatest pitcher of his generation was given a 4-0 lead, in a game to take total control of the series, and he simply blew it. Based on that performance, maybe Kershaw doesn't pitch like Darvish did last night where he could only find the center of the strike zone, but it's hard to say he would have been good enough to win when he wasn't good enough to win with a huge cushion.

But the Astros also deserve a lot of credit for fighting back several times this series. Game 2 especially might get overlooked, but that might have been the series too if the Dodgers take a 2-0 lead. Overall a great series with a disappointing end.
