"You saw it Johnson, I HAD to use necessary force" - Zack Kassian probably.

The play was elsewhere, so no one was looking.

There was a pile up of players and no official was looking? I find that very hard to believe.

Yup. Clearly Tkachuk's dirty antics from the BOA were the catalyst that sent Kassian down this dark path of self destruction.

Frickin suspend him for the rest of the season. That's downright reckless and endangering behavior. Holy hell

I foresee Kassian getting a suspension that will see him return on that last game of the season... against the Flames

I think he gets 20, NHLPA appeals, end up being 10.

I shouldn't have wondered over there it looks like the conversation is shifting towards Giordano for some reason

No way he escapes this with a slap on the wrist. Using your skate blade in that manner is about as dangerous a thing a player can do. I still can't believe even in the heat of the moment he would do that.

If Cernak had fallen to the ice after the kick, I'm sure Kassian would have gotten a penalty and the possible fine/suspensions but he walked it off like nothing so maybe the kick wasn't that hard, more like a love tab.
Still, you shouldn't be using the skate blade as a weapon. Look at what happened to Perlini a couple days ago even through that was an accident. The announcers didn't even acknowledge the kick even.

After all the crying he did about playing the right way and Tkachuk targeting him and it's about tespect, this should be a big deal. Practice what you preach dummy.

Everybody should start tweeting Oilers media asking what part of the code is that?

I like how Quinn and Remenda go silent after seeing the kick. Pretending they didn't see it.
