No way he escapes this with a slap on the wrist. Using your skate blade in that manner is about as dangerous a thing a player can do. I still can't believe even in the heat of the moment he would do that.

If Cernak had fallen to the ice after the kick, I'm sure Kassian would have gotten a penalty and the possible fine/suspensions but he walked it off like nothing so maybe the kick wasn't that hard, more like a love tab.VIDEO
