I like it.
If you’re keeping their primary colours and logo I’ll sign up for anything.

Don't like the big white stripes on the arms with numbers in them. Rest of the jersey looks fine.

the flaming horsehead inside of the collar is a nice touch, but the white striping should be the same width as the yellow striping.

This. The original/proper colour palette beats anything else for both home and away. The other details are all secondary.

Yep and it sounds like that's the plan, love it! I officially don't care at all what they do with the third jerseys if that's the case, to keep the "I love black" Flames crowd happy. Hell, release an entire nothing but black from head to toe third uniform for all I care, I'm already satisfied. Finally righted the wrongs of 1995

That concept is amazing. My only though would be the yellow numbers on the white being difficult to read from the stands/camera. Maybe flip it to red with yellow trim?

Actually, what would be really interesting to me is to see a yellow version of our the retro home/away jerseys.
Home: Red
Away: White
Third: Yellow
With the trim, details, etc all the same across all three jerseys. I used to think yellow would be tough to pull off until I saw Nashville do it.

Too much white in the collar. Don't like one shoulder patch. Looks off-kilter

I'd be forced to buy one of those Vegas beauties. Spoilered for huge pics.

You're right. Aside from the collar, it's a great concept.

Agreed. I think it's too much white on the middle of the sleeves.

What exactly defines a “colour rush” jersey? These seem more like extra horizontal stripe jerseys than adding a rush of colour. Is it just because they have the same designer as the NFL ones?

The logo having the red between the white in yellow plus the yellow numbering is too much for me.
I do like the template and shoulder patch though. I also appreciate the location of the snot horse. It placates those who actually like the thing while cutting out the worst parts and making it hidden when worn.

I respectfully disagree. If we drop black, then I feel we should use the exact designs of the 1980 - 1994 home & away sets.
I have yet to see any Flames concept with red, white & gold that I like better than what we wore when our team moved to Calgary.

I'd be fine with that home and away set permanently - it is safe and is already wildly popular based on the number of vintage, retro, and Heritage Classic jerseys we see on fans. But I also think that the organization's mid-90s mindset of "black is hip, right kids?" has prevented some reasonable variations of the original colour palette.
The measuring stick shouldn't be the original home and away set - they are legendary. Since then we've had more misses than hits unfortunately.

Reason: Heritage not Winter Classic.... whoops.

This years heritage classic white is the nicest Flames jersey they've ever worn.
I know it's just a re-make of the 80's retro, but for whatever reason it's just better looking.
