The longer this day gets, the more sick I get about the 2019 season and beyond.

That's the way I'm feeling right now.
Bo may be considering the other offers if the money isn't here. Ugh.

Maybe they have an agreement in principle, but are waiting to see if they can get some other guys signed prior to announcing Bo's deal?!? That's what I'm going with lol

Bo on the Riders would be sickening. If it has to be anywhere other than Calgary, then Toronto would be easier to take.

So can we refer to Edmonton as the “Eastern All Stars” now? They’re having quite a good day for a team that lost their QB

I've already seen a photoshop of Bo in Rider gear on twitter that almost made me sick.
I really hope they end up with nothing.

I can't even wrap my head around him entertaining the idea. They must be offering a huge overpayment.

if we don't sign Mitchell, we will have cap space and nobody to spend it on.

Huff has never been one to build teams through free agency. He's already signed Wall and Smith, and Turner got re-signed today. The defence won't be as dominant as last year, but he's always got young guys ready to step in.
Hope Micah goes East -- that guy is a beast.
DaVaris did a lot of team-related stuff at the end of last year so I don't think it he was necessarily unhappy with the organization. I'm guessing Huff and to choose between him or Rogers, and he went with Rogers.
As for Bo, I think he's trying to get the biggest deal he can with the team he wants to sign for. If that means waiting it out to create a bidding war, that's what he's going to do. Obviously would love to see him back with Calgary but given that all signs point to him returning to the CFL is good for the league. We'll win the Grey Cup next year with him or without him

I just think you're paranoid. Huff's a tough negotiator, and it's going to take some time to pry more money out of the Stamps. My gut is Mitchell wants to earn the top money in the CFL and it would be the cherry on top for him if it's with Calgary. That means that he's likely going to give Huff a chance to compete before he signs anything elsewhere, and that's what's taking the time. It comes down to if Huff is going to hit the bid or not. He'll have to consider whether or not he can find another QB to compete in the West. His history is to not play ball in bidding wars, however I feel this year is different given the amount of free agents changing cities and with two upstart football leagues potentially cornering talent that in other years he could bring in at the league minimum.
My bet is this drags on to the maximum level of discomfort for fans, but ultimately he resigns here.
