Default Olympic Plaza Bricks

The city is transforming Olympic Plaza

They are pulling up all the bricks

If you or a family member have one you can get it (or at least try).

https://www.calgary.ca/planning/proj...formation.html

You can use this link to find the brick

My mom actually already applied to get our bricks back.

I havent a clue as to what she plans on doing with them but...better her than Gondek?

I suppose I could throw them at insurance executives because apparently thats kosher these days.

Holy crap, our bricks are there.

I'm totally gonna get my brick with nearly 40 years of homeless gizz, piss, shat and blood on it.

Would you even let one of those bricks in your house?

I really need to see my own name printed out because it had to do with the olympics somehow.

Piss Bricks are the old generations selfie.

I thought I had one of these, but maybe it was an Expo 86 one. Can't find it in the search.

Oh you have one. Or...had one. I got to it first and gave it to Macman. Along with your address.

You should be receiving your delivery shortly.

The bricks are still there, right? Like we could still make our way down and relieve ourselves on these bricks before they get back to Locke or Sliver?

I bet that stink bomb liquid would soak right up into the brick, releasing it for decades. Or cat pee.

We can't even get my Grandma's brick.

I thought my parents bought it for her, but turns out when she was over visiting from Wales she took herself downtown and bought a brick.

She is long gone, so we can't show financial ownership and the only reason we want it is for sentimental reasons (which aren't good enough for the city).

I might have to head down in a hazmat suit and chisel it out.

That seems ridiculously bureaucratic. I mean...who else would want it? If you dont get it what are they going to do, toss it? They may as well just give it to you.

I believe the unclaimed bricks are being transported to Ukraine for the purposes of rebuilding
