I can safely say out of Johnny , Erik, or zad re-signing , I figured zadorov was the least chance on agreeing on new contract. Weird day

Need Zadorov’s physical presence, and if nothing else, having a Russian on the roster doesn’t hurt if you want to acquire another Russian…
Defections are going to be rampant, and the Flames should take advantage - Russia produces a ton of quality players.

I've been thinking about this all day and ever since I saw Z on my bike and didn't tell him he was my favorite player last season.
From what I saw in the Russian video of him and his family, they looked really happy to be living here in Calgary. The kids looked happy. This way they don't get moved out of school either and lose their friends.
