I could see a deal with Seattle(Driedger) happening before the start of the season. Another interesting option could be Quick, who is on the last year of his contract, but I don't see LA trading him to a divisional rival.

Driedger also out injured (Kraken went out and got Martin Jones to cover)

I must have missed that part, I just remembered they had 3 goalies. Maybe if the Islanders trade the last year of Varlamov they free enough space for Kadri?

Oscar Dansk? Former Knight.

What could the Flames get for him?

I feel bad for Lehner and Lehner only. It sucks seeing players careers derailed by injuries

And realistically would need to be not too much more than Lehner's aav as they are already poised to be going into the season with a shorter roster.

Really it would be only possible if Vegas can deal with whatever the sticking point is between Otter and Dallas. If it's an extra million or maybe an extra couple of years, Vegas could probably do it. And if Dallas matches, then Vegas threw a wrench into a rivals plans.
Last week I think it was reported that Dallas wasn't offering Oettinger more than 4 million, so I think that's where the hold up is.

I think if they wanted to have Robertson sign a bridge deal, maybe it could happen for around 6-7 million. But if he continues to progress like he has, they'll probably regret not locking him up long term.

Honestly, I have no idea who they feel is more valuable to the franchise, and I think both of them are offersheet eligible.

And of course the one detail I think most people miss when it comes to offer sheets, the player has to want to take that contract as well. So if either or both are committed to staying with the stars, it might be that they aren't entertaining offers from elsewhere.

Feel bad for him as a person.

As far as Vegas is concerned though...

Oh, Captain. Don't be so silly to suggest a 20th round pick. Try 44th round.

Remember 8 months ago when they got Eichel and you had guys on here wanting to run Brad out of town?

Vegas is going to be elite for the next 7 years!!!! lol They miss the playoffs again this year.

2 straight years of sucking and they would be lucky to get 12,000 fans into that building every night.

Vegas may actually be ok with this. Not sure Lehner or the team are on good terms, so they put him on LTIR and have about $7M to fill out the roster/find another starter. This seems to be up their alley.

My first thought as well - weren’t they at odds big time last season? And aren’t they LTIR abusers?

I guess this gives them some space since they'll have Weber and Lehner on the LTIR. Probably sign Kadri just to Vegas it up.
