Looks like the hold up in announcing the name of the team is that Wrangler Jeans has filed opposition of CSEC holding the Calgary Wranglers trade mark

Yes, I have been checking the trademark database. Wrangler's period to file an objection was recently extended. CSEC may have to go back to square one.

All Calgary AHL home games are listed at the Saddledome.

The Division alignment stays the same with 10 teams in the Pacific.
The only non-Division games Calgary will play are against Manitoba -- 2 games in Winnipeg in November and 2 here in December.
All teams will play a 72 game schedule, which will make reading the standings easier.
The playoff format will be the same as last season.

By my count, it looks like there are a few overlapping dates with the Hitmen schedule:
- Wednesday, November 2 - both teams are scheduled to play at 7:00pm
- Friday, November 4 - AHL @ 1pm / Hitmen @ 7pm
- Friday, November 25 - AHL @ 1pm / Hitmen @ 7pm
- Sunday, November 27 - AHL @ 1pm / Hitmen @ 4pm
- Sunday, February 19 - Hitmen @ 2pm / AHL @ 6pm
- Wednesday, February 22 - Hitmen @ 11am / AHL @ 7pm
- Sunday, March 26 - Hitmen @ 2pm / AHL @ 7pm
Only November 2 has them both playing at the same time, so the other dates could be run as double-headers at the Dome.

Based on all announced events to date, here's what the Saddledome calendar looks like now:
The only dates with 2 games scheduled at the same time are November 2 and January 18. I wouldn't be surprised if the Hitmen play their games on those dates either at 7 Chiefs or Winsport.

Btw, I don't anticipate the trademark dispute will have any bearing on the Flames naming the AHL team the Wranglers. I'm expecting an announcement relatively soon.

It could be Calgary Cowboys… although the Cowboys, Wranglers, and Centennials were all filed with the Hitmen Corral Series at the same time… The cowboys is the only one registered or shown any activity recently (May 31 2022)
Funny to see the Dallas Cowboys have an issue with it
