For season ticket holders, the Whitecaps game is prorated to the one game equivalent of your season ticket price. My season ticket was $366.75, so the Whitecaps game was 1/15 of that or $24.45

Random thought: any way we can get the club to let the scoreboard to keep counting up after 45 and 90? They post the +5 or whatever time is added on, but the clock stops, so you don't know how much of that has actually elapsed. This is odd and different from other soccer games I have seen in person, and also television broadcasts.

Slow day at work? Yes.

This calls for an angry e-mail on a slow work day direct to Ian Allison's BlackBerry from a newly minted member of the 109!

Issues of this magnitude must leapfrog Allison. I would like to speak to a Southern about this.

Canada just named their 60 man provisional squad for CONCACAF U-20 qualifiers. Jean-Aniel Assi and Max Piepgrass are on the list.

Heads up, we've got 2 busses going from the Rose and Crown to Spruce Meadows for the Valour game tomorrow. Busses leave at 12:30. Pub opens at 11 for us.

We've also got a big 75 person bus for the Whitecaps game on Wednesday. That bus leaves at 6:00.

Busses are free if you get food or drink at the Rose and Crown.

That might be the shortest loan spell I've ever heard of.

Valour seem to playing the old "load everyone in the box so no shots can get through" defence, and it is working.

Bevan! He's been a pretty nice addition. Much more effective than Novak or Di Chiara. When Mason comes back they should be a lethal 1-2 punch.

Fun win in stoppage time! Decent crowd showed up as well.

When is the expectation to get a permanent stadium/field?

Was looking to be a very dull game for 80 mins and then bam, it comes to life. Great finish, though probably a draw would've been the fair result.

80 minutes of boredom followed by complete chaos for 15 minutes. Love it! Great time on the Rose and Crown bus as well, minus the unexpected detour into Lakeview as a few people suddenly thought the bus was an Uber...

Spruce Meadows has a plan to build a 12000 seat stadium on the grounds, but the existing stadium would have to start selling out consistently before they build it.

I know it's early in the season, but the attendance numbers seem up maybe? Every time I park, the lots are way more full these days and the general look from 200 is that the stands are more full. Merch also seems to be flying off the shelves. All anecdotal observation though!

I agree, I was impressed by the turnout yesterday considering the cooler weather. It’ll be interesting to see what the attendance looks like when it’s 24 degrees on a June/July afternoon.

Attendance was 2945 yesterday which was better than I expected they would get on a long weekend. That new merch store is crazy busy too...

I love that attendance is doing strong, but I might preface this that the city is sports crazy at the moment and looking for some local competition at a great price.

Plus Sarge was probably drumming up some business at the 'Dome, which makes for good bed fellows

Definitely was busier than I had expected., given that hockey playoffs are on as well.

Enjoying the flex pack so far, and leaning towards getting seasons for next year.

Alphonso Davies made an appearance at FC Edmonton's game yesterday. Too bad hardly anyone was there to see him.

What is the chance that the Cavs beat the Whitecaps tomorrow?
