It is quite a weird criteria to choose a dog, I went out of my way to find the most friendly and trustworthy dog I could, found a black lab/collie mix.
Just looking at a picture of the guy, why was it exactly what I expected?

His fashion choices cost someone else their life.

The three dogs, a North American pit bull terrier mix, a North American Staffordshire mix and an American pit bull, were seized by community peace officers following the attack and have been in city custody since.
The city has submitted a Dangerous Dog Application to the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta requesting that the dogs be euthanized. The dogs will continue to be held pending the outcome of the application.
"Within the City of Calgary records, there was no prior history with these three animals," said Pleckaitis. "We're seeking to have them humanely euthanized as we believe that they pose a significant risk to public safety."

These are the owners that are not responsible with powerful breeds and should be restricted to owning one single large breed dog, not 5. Who needs that many?

So it looks like he has at least 5 of them. He should not be permitted to keep any.

But every time it's a pitbull, it could be any breed, or a cat, even.

Woman hospitalized by chihuahua:
https://nypost.com/2022/09/26/woman-...hile-sleeping/
Quote:
A British woman spent three days in the hospital after her daughter’s dog defecated in her mouth as she slept.
Amanda Gommo, 51, was taking an afternoon nap when pet chihuahua Belle became ill and suffered sudden diarrhea.
“I was having my afternoon nap with Belle, like I always do, when I suddenly felt something squirt in my mouth,” Gommo told South West News Service. “It was disgusting, and I was hurling violently for hours after. I just couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth.”

Maybe if she had cleaned her face right away instead of taking the time to take a selfie of her ####-covered face first?

The Toronto Sun printed the story as well. I am not sure if that makes it more or less reliable though.
