Saying his victims are all serial killers may not be the right term. But that is the description that got me to watch the show in the first place. Other than Oscar Prado and the pedophile, they are all known murderers. Most murdered multiple times. And I figure that Oscar will be identified as a murderer before the season is out.

I like the struggle between his normal life and his addiction, too. However, that is often where I find anomalies. e.g. the fact that Rita hasn't mentioned his heroin addiction lately. And she also didn't really have a problem with Dexter overdosing her ex-husband.

Personally, I actually find it hard to describe why I like the show so much. Then again, I don't come to CP to talk about my feelings.

I am hooked on that struggle between his dark passenger and the act he puts on to be normal.. it seems he's slowly being normal more naturally (comparing 1st season to now). I love how at one moment I can't stand him, but the next I am just giddy over something he did.
I'm finally all caught up finished season 2 and the 5th episode of season 3. woo!
Has anyone read the books?

Man, I love this show. Him teaching Miguel is unreal, it is sooooo dark. I really like how they have incorporated his dad into this season, I loved what he said at the end of the episode about not being able to handle the monster he is creating.

The season took a huge upswing this week.

Last season was so intense from start to finish, that the build up of this season's story has come off as a little disappointing (that's not quite the word, but I'm having trouble verbalizing). Last night's episode really slammed this season into gear IMO.

I think he will have to end Miguel at some point, and just imagine where the story could go from there.

I love the struggle between his logical need to be undetected and his obvious emotional need to share this part of himself with someone. I couldn't believe how ready he was to spill his guts.

I love the lines they write for Debra. Great stuff!

Side not....guess we know which scene it was in which Jimmy Smits almost killed the stuntman.

Miguel is meeting Dexters code more and more every episode. I don't see this season ending well for Miguel.

Miguel is to become a victim of Dexter's table fairly soon, me thinks.

The chick who plays Syl is a bad actress. I rolled my eyes when she "cried" to Rita.

Semi-related. Is it just me or is Rita getting hotter and hotter every season?

Sunday night's episode was excellent, I just watched it last night. Really got me primed for tonight's The Shield series finale!

Oh yeah, she's hot as hell, no doubt.

I was a little disappointed with Sunday's episode, but it does look like Miguel is going to have to go at the seasons end. 3 episodes left.

I seriously can't get enough of this show. I only started watching it pretty recently, but it didn't take me very long to get through the first two seasons! The other day I think I watched 5 or 6 episodes in a row...

I'm going to start the third season soon, the only problem is, I don't want to catch up... cause then I'll have to wait a week in between new episodes!

If that's the case, the best thing to do if you have Shaw is wait three weeks, then enter Shaw Video on Demand and all the episodes are there for free. Just enter the movie central section.

Yeah, it's been really handy for catching up on current seasons and it got me hooked on the new HBO show True Blood. I watched all 11 episodes in 4 days in time for the finale this past Sunday. The best part about it all......THE EPISODES ARE FREE!!!!

Awesome ending last night. Great move by Miguel to get the upper hand, but I think we all know that Dexter will win this battle.

Anyone else find Debra really annoying?? I've read other message boards talking about how she's the best character on the show, and how she's smoking hot......I just don't see it. I don't think she's that great of an actress, I just don't believe her in her scenes. And I don't find her hot at all. Now, Rita, on the other hand....smoking hot......

Let's put it to a vote.....Rita or Debra??

Rita

or Debra??
