Brilliant suddenly has become my favorite TV series, mainly because its so over the top and has a lot of just silly, laugh out loud moments.
John Cena is brilliant in the role, not only because he plays a fish out of water dorky supervillain so well. Also he's the king of physical comedy because he's learned how to sell injuries so well.
The rest of the cast is just solid, including a brilliant Robert Patrick as Peacemakers jerk white supremist father.
Also Eagily is so well done.
Probably I think the best DC content around, and it took me by surprise.

I'm really digging this, watched the first two episodes and loved them both. It's like a live action version of the Harley Quinn animated show. Love how they joke about other DC heroes helps to flesh out the universe.
So incredibly low brow, full of vulgarity, genitalia and toilet humour. Wanton sex and violence it’s almost indescribably vile and I effing love it. I enjoyed the first 3 episodes and cannot wait for new ones and if any of you fooking dye beards disagree then fight me.

We learned that Vigilante is kind of a bad ass, his work in the prison against Peacemakers father where he picked a fight and kicked the crap out of everyone was awesome.
The exchange and trash talking alone was awesome.
We learned that the head of the whole project is a butterfly.
We learned that Peacemaker started killing very early and was responsible for his brother's death.
In the middle of that scene with Peacemaker reflecting on his life choices and actions, we got a moment of clear insanity with Eagily and the butterfly that made me laugh spit my beer.
John Cena is just amazing in this role. And his physicality in the fight scenes is really awesome.

I'm only 1.5 episodes in but it's been great, my wife loves it too and she usually doesnt go for this sort of thing. I can see why Cena has been so aggressive promoting this, he couldn't ask for a better role.
"What's this helmet do?"
"It gives you scabies."
"Why?"
"Its good for character, everyone should get scabies."
HBO has been smashing it with comedies lately: Curb, Righteous Gemstones and Peacemaker have all been top tier.
The writing is starting to get to me please tell James Gunn he will never be Tarantino so stop trying. Frustrating thing is sometimes you'll laugh out loud other times, why are they going on and on. Pedantic comes to mind.
The boy and I just started watching this, I like how ridiculous it is.
Its a fun kind of weird.
I'd recommend that if people like this show, look up an older show called 'Happy!' which is a similar kind of off-wall-crazy.
As for Peacemaker, its a lot of fun and it seems like its right in Gunn's wheelhouse where he makes you care and invest in characters that you either dont know or are almost entirely unlikable.
I think its great.
