Not the most exciting weekend of playoff football but some great performances.
The Cards have been unimpressive for a while now so I’m not surprised they lost. The Rams will be a motivated team going into Tampa. They are built to “win now” and they know it.
Really looking forward to next weekend.

Disappointing wild card weekend really. Outside of two games the other four were not even competitive.

Bit of a weird weekend for sure.
Cards, Eagles, Patriots all had young QBs that didn't look ready for the playoff moment. Led to those three games getting a bit ugly.
Then in all reality the Steelers probably shouldn't have been there anyways and kind of lucked their way into the playoffs.
Next weekends games set up nicely though:
Titans-Bengals
KC - Buffalo
Packers - San Francisco
Tampa - LA
Should be 4 good matchups there.

I wouldn't really say Jones didn't look ready, the Bills would have beaten (likely crushed) almost any team ever with that performance. That game did reinforce his limitations as a QB with throwing deep, but I thought Hurts and Murray were much worse. I think for a wildcard weekend we got an unusual amount of rematches, only 49ers-Cowboys was actually a first time matchup, and we got two matches of teams in the same division (the two biggest blowouts incidentally). Too much familiarity I think helped contribute to the less than compelling games.

I wonder what the NFL will do next year regarding the MNF wild card game? I would prefer 3 Saturday and 3 Sunday games.

Unless the ratings last night were a catastrophe this format will be the format going forward. NFL isn't giving up a primetime slot once they've opened one up and know the fans will watch (and we all did, did we not?).

Good. Enough with the geriatric rockers, I don't have an issue with them catering to a different demographic.
Although with the exception of Kendrick, we've switched from geriatric rockers to geriatric hip hop.

If only they could have got MC Ren and Ice Cube and perform the old NWA track "Dopeman" so we could see the look on Goodell and all the other owners faces.

Feels like just yesterday when spring chicken Bruce Springsteen was crotch blasting the camera during his halftime show. How time flies.

I'm just wondering if we're getting a 2Pac hologram appearance.

You're forgetting quite a few. We had a run of McCartney, the Stones, Tom Petty, Springsteen and the Who. Broken up by spring chicken Prince, but he was epic.
Now granted that has been over a decade but they were playing it awfully safe for a while.
