Personally I think it was an okay move to try the bunt, but not on two strikes. Kirk you’re going to get power with but if he doesn’t go right field you won’t progress the runner so who knows.

You’re nuts. Lol. Probably the best outfits in the league. The hats, perhaps, but the uniform is great.

Merryweather pretty much just won the donaldson trade with that inning right there. That was unbelievable.

I was listening to the simulcast on the radio today as I was doing a bunch of errands driving around. Thankfully Shulman was doing the PBP as he did paint a good picture of what was happening for the most part. Better than Buck would do in my opinion.
Sounded like a few real good defensive plays from our infielders. Love the game tying home run from Teoscar. And was fortunate to head home in time to see Merryweathers insanely good inning wow.

Romano needs to quit walking guys. Good job getting out of his own mess though.
Merryweather.....wow. That's what you need from a high leverage relievers. The ability to throw strikes without putting it over the heart of the plate combined with the ability to miss bats. He could be an elite closer. They should leave him in the bullpen.

Ugly day at the top of the lineup, Semien, Biggio and Bichette 0 for 14 in 14 plate appearances with 7 Ks.
But a win none the less.

One pitch is a 99 mph fastball and the next is a 79 mph change-up. 20 mph difference between the two pitches and they look exactly the same coming out of the hand. Unreal.

That 99 mph pitch at the hands of Stanton was insane.

It's true. Between Stanton and Judge there's 13 feet of HGH all or nothing baseball. I like how Boone had to put Hicks between the K twins in the lineup

Just one game, but the D was a huge positive today and that's encouraging. Biggio, Semien and Vlad at 1st making good stretches and picks. Hopefully they keep that up.
