Mannarino will get his chance to exact revenge on Denis as he did dispatch Bemelmans in three sets.

Ugh so bad. I hope Denis crushes him as promptly as possible.

If you're close to a tv, Denis vs. Mannarino is coming up shortly on TSN5.

Going to a 3rd and deciding set as Mannarino wins set 2 6-1 - Only two unforced errors for Mannarino in that set.

Mannarino was pretty good today and Denis wasn't at his best as Mannarino takes the match by a 4-6 6-1 6-2 set score.

Ugh it makes me sick to see this guy win another round. He's the ATP equivalent of the rec player that does nothing but lob the ball and somehow comes out with wins more often then naught.

If anyone saw the other hard court tournament in Austria, it was a somewhat spicy and heated finish to the Jo-Wilfried Tsonga vs Damir Dzumhur match.
Near the end of the match Tsonga hit a 2nd serve with some good pace and great depth. The serve was so good and it caught Dzumhur so off guard that he could only put up his racquet in order to protect himself. The protective shot from Dzumhur dropped gently back into the court and he gave up on the point. Tsonga then went for the winner but smacked it right into the net.
Tsonga then appears to say something to the umpire. The umpire apparently warns Dzumhur about giving up on the point, which infuriates Dzumhur. Then at the end, Tsonga and Dzumhur have a heated exchange of words at the net as they shake hands.

Denis was missing both the Montreal crowd and the sidelines today with his ground strokes. You could see that Denis was getting frustrated as Mannarino was getting everything back and just waiting for the error from Shapo.

Milos is slated to participate in the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in December in Abu Dhabi. Joker, Stanimal, and Rafa also are planning to play.

So, Mannarino just broke Fed at love and then held serve easily to take the opening set 6-4. Fed looks bamboozled.

Fed has woken up and takes the second set 6-1. By the way, that's the first set that Mannarino has ever taken from Fed.

Denis has drawn Julien Benneteau in the first round of the paris masters next week. This should be a fantastic tune up against a decent but struggling opponent this year. Second round features a Tsonga rematch should Shapo advance.
One match win here would also get Shapo over the 1000 point threshold and firmly into the top 45 to end his first pro year.

The rest of the ATP tour must be floored at how this guy continues to hang around in matches he has no business even being in. You can't really get behind a guy who's entire strategy/skill set is based around other players committing errors.

Fed far from his best today, but wins the match taking the third set 6-3. When was the last time Fed committed 34 unforced errors in a three set match?

Final in Basel is set for Sunday and it should be a doozy as Delpo will take on Fed.

Delpo and Fed going to a third set - Juan Martin took the first set in a tie-breaker, Fed responds with a break in the 10th game to take the second set 6-4.

Title number 8 for Fed in Basel as he wins the 3rd set 6-3.
