Yes, but a rumbling is a rumour, so the question still stands.

Acquaintances who are members. Good enough for you .

Heard it early this year - unsure where that stands now but they suspected issues with the Windmill group.

Didn't Wilderness Club have similar issues with Nick Faldo?

I thought it is a well though out and designed course. We had a really great round. I ended up shooting 91 from the ‘III’ tees (they are numbered not coloured) which is about 6500 yards. Lots of different styles of holes and variety of shots needed.

I wasn’t paying but I still think I’d be skidish to pay the $110 price to walk.

In my opinion I’d get over there to play it before it’s fully private. Awesome course.

Delacour was like that last night, felt like fresh meat in the shark tank even with tons of deet on.

Its bad everywhere I find with all the rain. Mickelson would have been unplayable last night without bug spray.

Tough to find a Friday PM tee time, seems like everyone in the city will be golfing tomorrow.

Have one open spot amongst two foursomes Saturday at Wolf Creek for a double header - $175 including cart (nice deal).

8:00, 8:10 Old Course
1:15, 1:25 Links Course

Most joining are from the No Laying Up message board. First time we’ve gotten together for a day. If you have any interest in taking the spot, let me know!

I read somewhere that play at golf courses is way up this year. They are saying that COVID-19 and the isolation period has something to with it. People are tired of the isolation and looking for something to do.

My course @ Nanton is at 90% plus capacity this year with very few tee times being unused each day. People buying memberships was way up this year also.

Hopefully this is an ongoing trend that helps the golf industry as a whole.

Managed to get round #3 in yesterday which is way ahead of my pace last year. I guess that's the upside of a reduced work week. Fantastic day to get out with just enough of a breeze to keep the bugs at bay and i finally found the fairway with my driver so dropped about 12 shots from my score last week.

They allowed us to share a cart as well with the rationale that people were arriving in the same vehicle so not much point in making them use separate carts. That was a surprise. I also noticed Kananaskis was allowing shared carts provided you were in the same multi family cohort. (that is not where I played)

What is the definition of multi family cohort? These rules are getting more needless by the day.

I went last week with some friends and we just said we all lived together. They don't give a fata.

It is getting difficult to interpret everything. IIRC, Alberta Health was defining a multi family cohort as two families (smaller than 15 people total) that only associate with each other. So maybe your brother/sister and their family, a friend and their family etc.

Should also add that we got an email from a course in BC indicating cart sharing was acceptable now as well regardless of the situation. No cohort, no bubble.

I've heard some courses are putting up plexiglass/plastic barriers between people so they can share carts. That might be one of them.

Had men's league last night and you can't ride together but no problem sitting right beside each other for a beer after the round. Hopefully these nonsensical rules get straightened out. 4 carts bombing up each fairway is ridiculous.

This is probably a good thing for the "new normal" discussion in the covid forum but I'm hoping that maybe going forward the major cart manufacturers will add a smaller, individual golf cart to their product lineup (if it doesn't already exist) and courses will start to purchase those instead of the standard carts. I think it would be great to have a small scale personal cart for each player. Something like a three wheeled Vespa or scooter.
