Ah, I see it's another Nolan movie I will have to try to explain to my wife after we watch it.

Very excited, love that he basically gets a blank check to make these original crazy high concept action and sci-fi movies.

lol... so true. I can't take my wife to Christopher Nolan movies... i spend more time trying to justify the story/physics etc, that it kills the 'magic' for me.

Cool behind the scenes clip from Top Gun 2 about putting the actors in real fighter jets. Looks crazy.

Nolan? Nolan.

Brockmire: Interstellar. You know, I just want to be told a story at the goddamned movie. I don't want to be taught a lesson in how to solve the puzzle of what the hell I'm watchin'.

I will see F9. It will be over the top and the stunts will be stuff that just can't plausibly happen. I'll probably also not care and will love the movie.

The original The Fast and the Furious was an entertaining version of Point Break with cars. Fast Five was an entertaining over the top action heist movie. Every other movie in the series is a giant turd.

All that nonsense aside, Fast and Furious and Transformers are basically shining, glittering examples of why 'Box Office Success =/= A Good Film.'

They are going to continue making these movies until Vin Diesel is drag racing Mobility Scooters around the Assisted Living Facility in Florida.

Yeah. Some are better than others, but I haven't disliked any of them. They're fun and I love watching them. The creators of these movies have managed to create fan investment into the characters and people keep coming back to watch them. I'm really interested to see when they'll finally decide to call it quits. They have #10 planned but will they quit after that? The franchise is basically printing money, if the actors are willing to reprise their roles then I can see them continuing past the 10th.
