We're happy to add a defenceman like Dougie to our core. Goals against has been an issue for our team for the whole year even with the top-rated goalie.
Dougie is expected to slot right onto our top pairing and should re-rate quite nicely next year.
We had a surplus of centres with and we thought we would try and sell high on Danault while he is having a good season.
This is my first time as GM trading my 1st round pick but with 4 second rounders we feel it's a safe gamble....and seeing as how I can't seem to hit on my first round picks anyways.
