This is Kali. I adopted her from Barcs Rescue here in Calgary earlier this year. Best dog I've ever owned, which is surprising given her terrible upbringing. She was found in a hotel room in Atlanta, chained up and beaten, yet she's incredibly sweet and gentle.

I swear they're not as fat as they appear to be in the photographs. Mushu in particular has lost significant weight since then, but it's one of my favourite photos of him.

this was our neighbour's dog jessi. i know... technically not "our" dog, but our neighbours moved in across the street at the same time we did and got jessi shortly there after. that dog lived at our house. he had his own toy closet at our place. in the winter we'd see paw prints in the snow going from our neighbour's house to our door, a little bum print in front of the door and then paw prints back to our neighbour's house. we always got him when our neighbours went on long trips (multiple times per year). they even changed their will to say that we would get him if something ever happened to them. unfortunately, about a month ago jessi was put down at the age of 17. our kids took it pretty hard becuz they just adored him.
this is him and our daughter from a few years ago...
