Loved Beast Wars as a kid. I thought we were getting their own movie, but is this set in the same universe as the other movies? Where does it fall in the timeline?

Classic Prime was amazing. I thought all of them looked great. I much prefer the more simplistic look over the overly detailed pieces we got with Bay.

As for Indiana Jones I don't care, I liked them all. Even the Crystal Skull to me was entertaining if nothing else. I fondly remember piling through those VHS's as a kid. I look forward to this next chapter, especially with the director, and especially great to see John Rhys-Davies back in a major movie.

And as for GOTG 3, that is just a no brainer. Gunn is walking out the front door of a house he juts soaked in gasoline, this movie is the cigarette flying towards the first drop on the front porch. Can't wait.

.
Rise of the Beasts is a direct sequel to bumblebee, which was a prequel but also soft reboot of the other films.

Rise of the Beasts is set in 1994, in between bumblebee and the Bay films:

Honestly I don't know what they mean by soft reboot? It's like they haven't decided if they want to keep the Bay films in this universe.

I have yet to see Bumblebee, is it good?

I would love to see them do just a full reboot using the more grounded traditional animations from the cartoon. Those looks are so iconic. This movie feels much closer to that aesthetic.

It's okay. Personally I felt it's better than all the other movies except the first Bay movie. Definitely felt closer to the nostalgia of the 80s cartoons.

Or was decent. Firstly as you say the aesthetic was more true to the source material. It also relief on a better story and characters, as opposed to just action sequences and somewhat racist stereotype characters.

Robert Duvall is a treasure and probably not long for this world.
Bale irritates me.
I'll see it, for sure.

This is a wild teaser for this movie. I actually want to see what they're able to do with this toy property.

What a brilliant teaser trailer. Very interested in this one if it keeps the same tone.

Greta Gerwig is killing it as a director. Looking forward to seeing this one.

I'm still going to let a lot of you see it first. I feel like there's a mob mentality of positivity for it and I'm yet to understand what's going on.
